In March 2020, the world’s New Reality occurred due to the COVID-19 virus. This series embodies the urge and longing to be closer to one another. In creating New Reality, I gave myself rules to maintain the 6 foot social distance from my friends and loved ones. As much as I wanted to physically interact with my subjects , it was important to be genuine in capturing them from afar. As I took portraits, I could see the mixed emotions through their eyes.
